Semeli Margariti
Semeli Margariti was born 1992 in Athens. In 2010 she graduated from a music school. In 2016 she received her BA in Theater Studies from the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens A year before graduating, she studied for a semester at Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3 in the theater department. In 2017 she completed her bachelor's degree in Percussion (class D. Desyllas). She completed her master’s degree in 2022 as a scholarship holder from the Onassis Foundation at the Musikhochschule Münster in the subject Percussion (class S. Froleyks). As a musician she has played in many concert halls, e.g. at the Greek Festival of Athens and Epidaurus, in the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center, Onassis Cultural Center and in the Athens Megaron. Since 2019 she has been a member of the percussion quartet KRAMA Ensemble, which was selected for the WDR 3 campus concert in 2020 and broadcast on the radio. KRAMA has been a scholarship holder at YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now since 2021. She works as a percussion teacher in Germany.
Yung-Ju Tsai
Yung-Ju Tsai was born in 1991 in Miaoli, Taiwan. At the age 13 she began to learn marimba and drums. She completed her bachelor and master degree in music and creativity at the Musikhochschule Münster in the class of Prof. Stephan Froleyks. As part of her studies, she placed a special focus on classical percussion. During her studies, she has undertaken several concert tours with the Splash ensemble in Germany and abroad and has been involved in many concerts of the new music program KLANGZEIT. For several years she was also the percussionist in the Why Not? collective theater project. . For many years she has been passionate about the marimba. In this role she has been a member of the percussion quartet KRAMA Ensemble since 2019, which was selected for the WDR 3 campus concert in 2020 and broadcast on the radio. KRAMA has been a scholarship holder at YEHUDI MENUHIN Live Music Now since 2021. Yung-Ju Tsai is also a percussion teacher in Germany.
